Symposium Registration
The Symposium takes place in the stylish Lecture Hall in Monona Terrace, which accommodates just over 300 participants—a perfect size and setting to nurture the intellectual synergy between pioneering science from world class experts and thoughtful inquiry from promising trainees and developing investigators, soon to be tomorrow’s neuroscience pioneers.
Space is limited – register early!
Seats are held each year for Symposium faculty, registered discussants, and travel award winners, leaving about 200 seats for general admission. To encourage a diverse audience, there is an initial registration period that runs through March 31 in which half of the available seats are reserved for non-UW registrants and the other half for UW-affiliated registrants. After March 31 all registrants are admitted on a first-come-first-serve basis regardless of affiliation. If available seats in either the UW or non-UW category fill during the initial registration period, a wait-list will be established. After March 31 any wait-listed registrants will be accepted in the order they registered, to the extent there is room.
Registration policies will be tightly enforced. Please register early to ensure your seat at the 2008 Symposium.
